No One Gives A Fuck About You and Therein Lies Your Superpower
Raw Manifesto 006
American author, Scott Adams, passed away on January 13th, 2026. There was a huge uproar online and (mostly) everyone was giving him his flowers rightfully so. I recently discovered his work and started reading his book: How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big, and so far I must say it’s a great read. This man was known by millions of people and respected by them as well. He also had a ton of criticisms and hate, but that’s not something a celebrity or influencer isn’t used to.
Today it is January 19th, 2026. Not even a week has passed. There is not a single mention of Scott Adams. Zero. Matter of fact, the day after his passing there has been zero mention of him. Every one just moved on to the next thing. Just like that. The world of zealots and haters completely moved on. No wondering what his family is going through. No questions on where the burial will be had or when. Just moving on to the next super important, big thing.
And what’s the point of me saying this? It’s not to dunk on a masterful and intelligent writer, of course not. It’s to show you that if a man of such great influence. A man who’s given back so much with his free work online to the world can die and yet the world just doesn’t seem to care. The whole world moved on.
And that’s how it was when Ben Bader passed as well. I never spoke to him but we liked each others’ tweets from time to time whenever they popped up. What I noticed about Ben was how genuinely sweet he seemed. Never a negative comment. Even resembled something of an angelic presence in his physiognomy. Yet when he passed, what he received were thousands of three letters.
RIP
And that was that. A complete move-on in their lives. And of course, what do you expect? A nobody to grieve about someone they only knew online? Of course not, that’d be ridiculous, right?
But there’s a very special secret laying here. Glowing mythically. Waiting for us to open this treasure chest and apply it to our own lives and the way we live.
What is it?
Well, if people with such reach and great engagement around the world can be forgotten so quickly it tells me one thing.
No One Truly Cares About You
Not your followers. Not your haters. Not your “friends”.
They will all move on just fine.
The only ones who will genuinely be affected are your family members, your woman, and your very few, close friends (if you’re fortunate enough to truly have those). That’s it.
How many people is that? About 3-6?
3 to 6 people in this world genuinely care about you. The rest of the world will move on within minutes. No. Nowadays, with our attention spans curtailed beyond understanding, it will take them seconds to move on. They will talk about the basketball game that’s on tonight. They will get back to work. They’ll go grab lunch. Have a laugh with a friend or a coworker. Scroll on IG and send some reels.
But they’ll certainly send out a “RIP” because that smooths things out and balances out the order in the world.
At the end of the day, my dear friends, you must break it through your minds that no one genuinely gives a fuck about you. And therein lies your hidden superpower.
Your Hidden Superpower, Master Wayne
How many times have you prevented yourself from doing something you wanted but didn’t due to fear of being judged or insulted? Go out to a restaurant solo? Go to the movie theaters alone? Travel to a location but you had no one to accompany you? Start a business that requires upfront capital and advertising your name/face so that your friends and neighborhood will see? Posting content online?
And what was this ambivalence all for? Fear of judgement from whom? People that genuinely don’t give a fuck about you? The ones who might comment RIP under your online obituary - if you even get one?
You are cutting off your potential due to fear of being criticized by absolute nobodies. People who don’t give a fuck about you.
And once you truly understand this, and once you truly embody the mindset that you shouldn’t be riled up by comments from nobodies, you unlock your very own superpower that was lying dormant within you all your life.
Skeletons In Our Walk-In Closets
You see, somewhere when you were a young child, you were reprimanded for something you genuinely wanted to do or say. Perhaps an agitated father told you to stop talking when grown-ups are. Or someone wasn’t paying attention when you were showing them your drawing. Or anything of this nature.
It rewired you from a very young age and you have since then been this way. Where deep down there’s a resistance to do what you’d like because you fear that same feeling you had when you were 6 years old. And you never grew out of it.
But it’s time.
It’s time to potentiate. It’s time to level the fuck up. Reach newer heights. You must train your mind into understanding this basic truth:
No one gives a fuck about you and therein lies your superpower.
The View From The Clouds
Imagine where you’d be if you acted this way for the last 5 years? How many projects you’d accomplish? How many followers you’d have or subscribers reading your thoughts and your work? How much more money you’d see in your bank account? How many girls you’d have gotten with that you never had the courage of talking to? The quality of friends you’d keep and cut off? The quality of the woman you’d keep and cut off? You’d be a fucking superhero. It doesn’t get much closer to that than living unapologetically and doing what you genuinely want without fearing judgement or criticisms. FROM NOBODIES.
When you die - and if you are a subscriber of the Raw Manifesto you will definitely have more out of your life than if you weren’t - you’ll maybe get a couple of people who will deeply grieve for you. It will hopefully not be your parents. But it will likely be your partner, your children, and your friends. The few we chose to keep. The ones we love and cherish. The selected few.
That’s it. No one else will truly care. So why do you choose to live like anyone’s opinion actually matters? If they won’t care about you struggling to make ends meet, to feed your family, to take care of medical bills, to bury your mother, to deal with health disasters of your own, then why the fuck do you care about what they have to say?
They are no one. You are everything. And everything you want should belong to you. Or at least, you should be able to go after anything and everything you want without fearing what a nobody will have to say.
That is your superpower. Wield it fiercely. And remember.
Stay raw.
