Take a room of 100 people randomly plucked from the planet. Placed in a room, and without any observation of who they are or what they do: how many would you say are smart? Whatever that word means for you. Generally people say around 10-30. Now. How many would you say are really smart? Again, generally people I ask say 2-10. Now out of all these people you picked as smart and really smart, people you’d listen to for advice, people who might lead interesting lives, people who are different in a statistical sense and probably many more ways, I begin my piece by asking you this:
Why would you listen to the normal crowd or be a normal person if the majority of normal people are not smart, intelligent, interesting, or unique? Since when is ordinary the trend to follow? Normal people are not smart, financially free, have a plethora of beautiful women, or physically exceptional. Then why the fuck do you strive to fit in with the everyday crowd?
